Robert C. Devine Diesel Technology Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship was created in memory of Robert C. Devine. Robert attended Monona Grove High school. He was a self-taught diesel mechanic, specializing in Dodge Cummins engines, master welder, electrician, metal fabricator, and heavy equipment operator. He had previously worked at Badger Utility, Diesel Specialists and at the time of his death, Token Creek Farms, as well as his own business Devine Welding. He had his CDL and could drive and repair anything with wheels or a motor. If it didn’t have a motor he would find one and put one in it. Robert’s many interests besides mechanics included: guns, target shooting, spending time with his dog, planning new projects for his home, horseback riding with his sister and Christmas tree hunting with his family at Roger Palmer’s. He loved spending time with his friends and family doing any and all of the above. His great passion in life since he was 8 years old was motorcycles: repairing, building, and riding with the wind in his face. Recipient must be a continuing student enrolled in the Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technology program.
