Memorial Gifts

We are grateful to celebrate the life of your loved one through the gift of scholarships. Below are options on how you can honor their legacy.

Establish a Memorial

You may establish a memorial with a gift of any amount. Your gift or collective gifts can be designed to students in a specific program or students with the most need.

If you would like, we would be happy to set up a giving page so your friends and family can easily contribute to the fund in your loved ones memory. You can view an example here

Establish a Memorial Fund

You may set up a named fund with a one time gift or collective gifts of $1,000 or an annual gift of $500 or more. You can choose to have the fund support all students, or you can select criteria and preferences regarding the students receiving the funds. These include specific areas of study, enrollment status, GPA and other criteria as desired. View the Scholarship Addendum here for full criteria options.

While the fund remains active, you will receive information about the recipient(s) awarded your scholarship and an invitation to attend the annual Scholarship Breakfast to meet scholarship recipients.

If you would like, we would be happy to set up a giving page so your friends and family can easily contribute to the fund in your loved ones memory. You can view an example here

We will send you contact information for the donors who participate in this giving.

Establish an ENDOWED Memorial Fund

If you are looking for a way to honor your loved one into perpetuity, you can establish an endowed fund. Starting at $25,000, an endowed fund will honor your loved one’s legacy.  To learn more about endowments, visit our Establishing a Named Fund Page.

Include Madison College Foundation in Your Loved One’s Obituary

We are honored to receive gifts directed to our foundation. These donations will be designated to the Smart Future Fund. We will send you contact information for the donors who participate in this giving.
