Patricia (Patti) A. Smith Opportunity Scholarship

This fund was established in Patti’s name in appreciation of the positive impact she has made in the lives of countless others through her generosity, volunteerism, and caring manner. Patti appreciates the transformative value of education. After earning her degree in Speech Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Patti returned to Madison College later in life, as a non-traditional student, to pursue her passion for Interior Design. She has also invested her time and resources in support of others, so that they may benefit from the opportunities higher education provides. This fund seeks to leverage what Patti began by continuing to help returning adults, especially those with financial barriers, attain an education that matches passion to purpose, thereby enriching their lives.
