New Madison College Students

Who is a considered a new student?

If you will have completed less than 6 credits at Madison College for the semester you are applying for scholarships for, you are considered a new student.

Application Deadline

Applications for spring 2023 scholarships will be open October 24th-December 1st. Award notifications will be sent to Madison College email accounts by February 2023.


  • You must complete the Madison College Admissions Application

  • You must be accepted into a program

  • You must have a 2.0 GPA or higher

  • You must be enrolled in 6 or more credits for the upcoming semester

  • You must upload a letter of recommendation

  • You must upload a college or high school transcript

  • A number of scholarships consider financial need as one of the selection criteria. In order to be considered for need based scholarships you must complete a 2021-2022 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at
    NOT completing the FAFSA information will not affect your consideration for other non-need based scholarships.
