Who is considered a continuing student
If you will have completed 6 or more credits at Madison College at the start of the term you are apply for scholarships for, you are considered a continuing student.
Application Deadline
Applications for fall 2026 scholarships will be open March 23rd through April 29th. Award notifications will be sent to Madison College email accounts by mid-August 2026.
Requirements to Apply–THE FOLLOWING REQUIRMENTS MUST BE MET BY THE APPLICATION DEADLINE:
- You must complete the Madison College Admissions Application
- You must be accepted into a program
- You must be residing in Wisconsin
- You must have a 2.0 GPA or higher
- You must be enrolled in 6 or more credits for the upcoming semester
- A number of scholarships consider financial need as one of the selection criteria. In order to be considered for some need based scholarships you must complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), if eligible.
NOT completing the FAFSA information will not affect your consideration for other scholarships.

- Complete the questions on the general application and submit by the deadline.
- Once you submit your general application, you will be directed to apply for other scholarship opportunities. You will need to answer additional questions to apply for these opportunities.
