Andy Affolter Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is in honor of Andy Affolter whose culinary skills ceased due to pancreatic cancer.  Andy’s enthusiastic drive for good entrees kept him going by grocery shopping and preparing meals up to his final days.  He loved watching others enjoy his delicious meals.

Andy is an alumnus of Madison College’s Culinary Arts program.

Andy’s culinary skills were appreciated at ΣAE & ΣAM fraternities plus local hotel/ restaurants as well as reputable establishments in eastern USA and internationally.

Andy’s life was fulfilled being a food ambassador helping others expand their tastes for different foods.  He shared his passion for seasoning and cooking preparations with all who showed interest.

The scholarship will go to students studying culinary and hotel/restaurant management.
